Bug Purge

Avinoam
Dear Maintainers,

There are currently 85 bugs in status of "Patch Submitted".
Some of them belong to core Octave, and some of the belong to OF.
Some of them are valid, and some are not.
When time passes, most of them became unusable.
I think that it's a good time for a global effort to check these patches.

What do you think?

Avinoam

This is a VERY good idea. In the past someone has taken the initiaive, usually
connected with a major release. But, now would aldo be a good time.

Last time I believe was Lachlan for 4.2.0, and he kept track of things on the wiki. The page is still up at:
http://wiki.octave.org/Bug_Fix_List_-_4.2.0_Release

Don't know if that was the best way to do it, but looking at the number of crossouts it seemed to work to a point.

2. bug 31626 [2] - please answer comment#3 for this 7 years bug report+patch
3. bug  48218 [3] - pease review this trivial patch

Thanks,

Avinoam
