Congratulations to the accepted GSoC students!

Nir Krakauer-2
5 students were accepted to improve Octave under Google Summer of Code this year. See [1] for their names and project topics.

Special thanks to our 12 volunteer mentors, who will be advising them through the summer.

Octave will also be participating in the European Space Agency's Summer of Code in Space. Students can apply through May 15 [2].

You can follow progress on the students' blogs, which will be syndicated at planet.octave.org

Indeed, special thanks to Nir who always seems to get us organized, with the applications submitted on time, and with enough interesting project choices that we always seem to have a few students accepted.
