The Octave community has taken a significant step toward closer collaboration between the Octave and Octave Forge projects today by closing the Octave Forge mailing list and inviting the members of that list to subscribe to the Octave help and maintainers lists.
From now on, the help@octave.org list will be the place to ask for help for Octave and all Octave Forge packages and the maintainers@octave.org list will be the place for all discussions about the development of Octave and Octave Forge packages.
