Octave + graph-plot program

Preben Randhol-11

I was wondering if somebody knew a good graph/data plot program that
can be used with octave? Currently I use Kaleidagraph [for win 3.11
:^(] as produces very nice plots and has the ability to do some
statically function like regression analysis.

So what I'm looking for is something that can be modified so that it
produces nice graphs.

thanks in advance... sorry if this off-topic...

Hi;

     You don't like gnuplot?  It comes with Octave...
You may want to get the ``standalone'' version though.  I also use a
program thats called xmgr/ACE - its a sexy WYSIWIG package that does
regression and more...I run it under DEC Unix. I have a friend who runs
xmgr on a laptop under Linux.  I don't know if there is a version
for Windows 95 or not.
                                                    Good luck;

No, gnuplot is distributed separately.  Octave simply uses it to
implement its plotting functions.
