Hi people!
Trying to compile Octave 1.92 on a Linux 1.2.13...
It goes smoothly for some time until it reaches the compilation of
liboctave/CMatrix.cc:
> cd liboctave ; make all
> make[2]: Entering directory `/root/octave-1.92/liboctave'
> c++ -c -I. -I../src -I.. -I../liboctave -I../src -I../glob -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -fno-implicit-templates -mieee-fp -g -O -Wall CMatrix.cc
>
> /usr/i486-linux/bin/as: Can not allocate 5000 bytes after allocating 24137728 bytes
> make[2]: *** [CMatrix.o] Error 1
> make[2]: Leaving directory `/root/octave-1.92/liboctave'
> make[1]: *** [liboctave] Error 2
> make[1]: Leaving directory `/root/octave-1.92'

Do someone have an idea of what is happening? [Sorry, but I don't have
right now the version number of c++ I'm using. :-( ]
TIA
Mario
