Cloning hp repo on SF fails (?)

jbect
Hi all,

I'm having trouble cloning the stk repo either by http:

$ time hg clone http://hg.code.sf.net/p/octave/stk
destination directory: stk
requesting all changes
adding changesets
adding manifests
adding file changes
transaction abort!
rollback completed
abort: connection ended unexpectedly

real    1m16,134s
user    0m1,044s
sys     0m0,056s

or by ssh:

$ time hg clone ssh://[hidden email]/p/octave/stk
destination directory: stk
requesting all changes
adding changesets
adding manifests
adding file changes
added 1934 changesets with 10863 changes to 2012 files (+10 heads)
updating to branch default
517 files updated, 0 files merged, 0 files removed, 0 files unresolved

real    18m27,655s
user    0m3,824s
sys     0m0,444s

Does any one else see the same behaviour (failure by http / very very
long cloning time by ssh) ?

@++
Julien

Yes, and it's not restricted to stk or even to mercurial. I found
this:
