Error compiling octave from mercurial repository [changeset: 15442:015cc3d1f389]

José Luis García Pallero
Hello:

I'm tryng to compile octave from the hg sources in order to test the
gui and the jit features, but the compilation stops after an error.
For the jit I have the llvm 3.1 dependencies installed and detected in
the ./configure step.

After configure all are OK:

  Build Octave GUI:                   true
  JIT compiler for loops:             true
Do internal array bounds checking:  false
  Use octave_allocator:               false
  Build static libraries:             false
  Build shared libraries:             true
  Dynamic Linking:                    true (dlopen)
Include support for GNU readline:   true
64-bit array dims and indexing:     false

In the compilation proccess I obtain this results:

1.

From

g++ -E -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I..  \
          -I../liboctave/cruft/misc -I../liboctave/array

I obtain the message:

And after this last message:

"

And the compilation is aborted, but I didn't find any error

Is this a bug?

Thanks

Sigh... sorry... you have found the Octave Forge list, which is for
discussion about Octave packages, not Octave itself.

The maintainers' list is

    https://mailman.cae.wisc.edu/listinfo/octave-maintainers

Please see this thread in it:

Ouch, sorry. I don't remember when was the last time I posted in
octave mailing lists. I'll try the solution posted in the thread you
post
