Octave 2.1.42 available for ftp

John W. Eaton-6
Oops, there was a file missing from the tar file for 2.1.41.  This
snapshot fixes that problem.

Octave 2.1.42 is now available for ftp from ftp.octave.org in the
directory /pub/octave/bleeding-edge:

  -rw-r--r--  1 506  103  4945994 Jan  2 23:56 octave-2.1.42.tar.gz
  -rw-r--r--  1 506  103  3858361 Jan  2 23:56 octave-2.1.42.tar.bz2
  -rw-r--r--  1 506  103     2171 Jan  3 00:01 octave-2.1.41-2.1.42.patch.gz
  -rw-r--r--  1 506  103     2343 Jan  3 00:01 octave-2.1.41-2.1.42.patch.bz2

If your favorite bug is still not fixed, please let me know about it.

Thanks,

jwe

Re: Octave 2.1.42 available for ftp

Dirk Eddelbuettel

The Debian packages for i386 have been uploaded, packages for the other
architecture will be built over the next few hours. All of these should be
on your Debian mirrors shortly.

NB: building 2.1.42 requires gcc/g77/g++ 3.2 as John confirmed in the usual
unbelievably timely manner (read: within minutes).

Cheers, Dirk
