octave-4.4.1-w64-64 equivalent on linux

tmacchant
From octave 4.4.1, on windows octave-4.4.1-w64-64 is provided.
This may be configured with --enable-fortran-int64 on mxe-octave.

Have there been trial for linux equivalent for this ?

As is written
https://octave.org/doc/interpreter/Compiling-Octave-with-64_002dbit-Indexing.html#Compiling-Octave-with-64_002dbit-Indexing

this is not a trivial task even on linux.

Yes, see for example these projects

  * https://gitlab.com/mtmiller/octave-blas64-builder
  * https://github.com/octave-de/GNU-Octave-enable-64

Both projects provide automatic downloading and building the necessary
libraries and Octave itself using 64-bit Fortran integers.

Thank you for your reply.
My college want to use LA with full asthmatics on linux.

Do you have a plan describe the above to the Octave Wiki?

https://wiki.octave.org/Enable_large_arrays:_Build_octave_such_that_it_can_use_arrays_larger_than_2Gb.
